This is a wonderful book. We bought it for a birthday present for our just 13 year old granddaughter. She and we loved reading it together and discussing it together with her parents. We recently went to a " Downton Abbey" costume dinner in which all the attendees were acting as if it were 1924. Our granddaughter loved the photos we included with the gift book.
Love this book and all the interactive elements it contains that will engage the young reader. This covers a number of subject areas related to the period plus the activities make sense and will be fun for children to engage in. Good illustrations and lots of interesting factual tidbits. Wish this book was available when I was still in the classroom teaching history!
