I wish I bought this book at the beginning of my breast cancer journey last year. So glad I at least have it now. Absolutely endearing. Full of stories from every perspective from family to friends and beyond. I have highlighted all of my favorite paragraphs and now my book is darn near all yellow highlighted pages!!! Makes a wonderful gift.
I use to work with breast cancer patients and would give this book to almost everyone. Unless you've experienced breast cancer, it's hard to know what someone is going through. This book and the companion one are written by breast cancer victims and resonate with people experiencing the same thing.

I purchased this book as was recently diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. I have read other "Chicken Soup" books and decided to purchase this book for my Kindle - it was among other "Chicken Soup" titles that were part of Kindle's Daily Deal one day. Very inexpensive price. (Thus, an e-book.) I have been reading one story each evening before going to sleep. I have enjoyed almost every story - real people who talk of their real situations. Helpful and comforting stories for the "Breast Cancer Person in your life!" Offers lots of hope among the difficulties and hard feelings of those having been diagnosed with cancer. Some very sweet stories! It is a worthwhile purchase! And my message to everyone these days is - "Get your mammogram! It could save your life like it has saved mine!"
