This cookbook has beautiful color photos of many of the recipes it contains. I love chia seeds and put them in just about every meal. I like the variety of recipes this book has to offer but my one complaint about it is that so many of them call for white flour & white sugar. I swap them out whenever possible with whole grain and alternative flours as well as more natural sweeteners. Other than that, this cookbook is a welcome addition to my collection. Reccommended.
Not too impressed with this book. Pretty much all the information about Chia is already out there for free on the Web.Also, don't buy this thinking you'll get Nutritional Stats for the recipes, as they're not included. Not very helpful for those actually wanting to count calories as part of our weight loss effort. Some of the ingredient lists for the recipes are missing items as well.On a positive note, at least the photos are pretty. ;)
I wish I had listened to other reviewers. It just seems contradictory to read recipies for things including chia and then also have lots of sugar and other ingredients which don't support other contemporary healthy choice foods.

This exceeds my expectations for a cookbook. The pictures are very helpful, and the recipes are easy and delicious. I ordered this book for my daughter because she wanted some of the recipes. With the inexpensive price it was easy to give it to her. If you order this book be sure to order The Aztec Diet and follow that first. You will want to know how to use the chia seeds in your everyday meals, and this is the best book for that.
Very disappointed in the book. Most of the recipes are not even close to being healthy, plus there is a lot of recipes that use flour and sugar. We've been eating grain and sugar free for a while now so I can't use the book. It was a waste of money.
If you are looking for a healthy way to incorporate new meals into your families life, I would recommend picking up this cookbook and try some of the muffins, and main dishes.
Great pictures! Ingredients are most likely found already on hand in your fridge or pantry! If not found easily at grocery store. Lots of ideas for any meal or occasion. Smoothies and drinks too! Enjoy!
